• Raking Shores

  • Raking shores is a system of providing temporary support to an unsafe wall or structure. how raking shore support is constructed varies from project to project and has to meet the specific conditions of each site. The system is often used to support a building or wall where scaffolding is bearing the load, for example when an adjacent building needs pulling down or when new openings are constructed.

It is used for stability and is a specific high-end design element of the service we provide. Often, the use of raking shores will need to be constructed in line with planning regulations. Ducker & Young will liaise and consult with local councils on behalf of, or alongside our client.
